All the projects displayed
on Freelance Programming are available to bid on if you are a service provider
and have entered your professional profile. There are two basic steps finding a
project to bid on:
- By browsing the posted projects in the “View projects” window viewing all categories in turn.
- By email notification when a new project is posted. This can be performed by completing the “Project notification” preferences in “My
account”.
When a suitable project to
bid on has been found, click the “Bid on project” button in the “View
project” window. You will be prompted to enter the proposed bid description and bid amount. The bid description should be
a full and concise summary of your work proposal. The bid amount should be an
exact quote of the work you have offered to do. No adjustment in bid price
can be made after the bid has been accepted.
When the bid proposal is
confirmed, the project owner will be notified by email of the new bid proposal
and the bid will be displayed with the project. It is the project owner’s
responsibility to select a bid winner.
If, for any reason, the bid
proposal requires editing or updating, simply enter another bid on the same
project. This will overwrite the original bid and the project owner will be
notified again. It is advisable to avoid repeatedly updating bids as this look will
as if you are unable to decide or commit to work promises.
NOTE : To enable fair
bidding, no contact information or personal details can be entered in the bid
proposal. Violation of this Freelance Programming rule may result in removal of
bid and suspension of membership. |
