The bidding is reverse auction style where you can submit any bid value you feel fair for you to complete the project in question. This is supported by your description of what you can offer the project owner.
It is then entirely at the discretion of the project owner to choose whichever bidder they feel can complete the work.
In our experience, 80% of the project owners are influenced by the bid description and the confidence this gives them about your abilities, not the bid value entered. However, bids that quote hourly rates eg ( $15 ) win less projects than the bids that quote a full project price eg ( $750 ). This is probably because the project owner knows exactly what the project will cost with the latter.
When bidding, take the time to understand the project and in your bid description give examples of the understanding you have. If you think like the project owner, they defiantly do not want to use your services just because you are the cheapest bidder, they want to use you if they feel that you have the experience and expertise to complete their project professionally and efficiently also that you are a responsible person. So try to convey this in your bidding description.
We hope this helps and good luck with your bidding. |
